We went to visit a goat farm in Pescadero. It was like a slice of cute animal and cheese heaven.
We got to milk a goat. Some people on our tour had trouble doing it. We didn’t. I had such an overwhelming sense of mommy-ness as I milked the goat that it made me cry a little. Derp. Anyway, I love goats and now I want to have some more than ever. Observe.

WHAT AN ELEGANT SMILE! not.

They had 2 llamas to protect the herd, like from dogs and stuff, by spitting at intruders. They didn't spit at us, though.

The kids are so soft, and wiggly. They are all legs!

They are really really good about being held. Much to our intense delight.

Eventually many she-goats were rubbing quite fiercely against my butt and boot-tops. They are really strong.

There were 140 babies at the farm when we visited. Talk about luck!

Srsly, this goat is always in the frame with my butt.

Behold. 150 bones worth of goaty goodness. We ate so much cheese we got sick that day.

I mean, for fuck's sake, just look at them.

I swear there is practically nothing cuter than baby goats.

This goat was super into my butt. She started out rubbing her horn nubs on the top of my boots, then just started rubbing her head on my ass.

We were able to pass this little one between us fairly easily. They really are so sweet. S/he bleated softly a little bit, but then relaxed in both of our arms and allowed us to kiss and snuggle her/him.
